Hi friends, I'm Christina. I am one of the Co-Founders of A Moxie Movement and I am the Executive Director of A Moxie Movement in Texas. A Moxie Movements was one of the organizations that I led during my time in college. My other passions, outside community organizing, include domestic and foreign politics, social movements/revolutions, interfaith work, and human rights. I graduated in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and double minor in Sociology and Interfaith Studies. On my free time I like to dance, go to concerts, museums and community events. I am very involved in the 2020 Presidential campaign and think so should you (no matter what side you are on, your voice matters!) I am a Cis - Hispanic woman. I am a Christian Mystic and that greatly influences my social action. Please ask me any questions you may have about this organization, current politics, myself, my faith or any ways I can be there for YOU.
Hi there! I'm Mikayla. I am the Executive Director of AMM in San Antonio, Tx. I am a queer, black woman currently residing in San Antonio, Texas and originally from Darlington, South Carolina. I'm a country girl at heart and a long winding road with lots green is my muse. I have a B.A in Psychology and i'm currently pursuing my master's in I/O psychology. I'm striving to be a part of something bigger than myself and make a difference that resonates within and with others. I hope to be able to pursue an administrative role within an organization and write policy that promotes adequate use and understanding of Title IX, healthy work-life balance practices and more progressive ideals. I consider myself to be an intersectional-feminist and hope to continue to gain more knowledge and understanding of the experiences of others. Last but certainly not least, I am in love with all things self-care and self-love related. Please ask me anything!

Hello! I am Talia! I am the Director of the Action Team. A bit about me, I love to meet new people and make new friends! I am fairly artistic, I like to paint and sketch, and art in general. I also really like soccer and did play when I was in school. Right now I am in the process of going back to school to become an official behavioral therapist. Before moving back to Texas, I was a behavioral technician, and really loved working with Children. My goal is to eventually work within the foster care system and when I am settled adopt my own children. Please email me if you have any questions about my life, my work or my team!

Hello, I'm Aly! I am the Director of the Outreach Team. I’m a mother of a beautiful little girl. My favorite things to do (besides be with my daughter) include going to the movies, taking road trips, and hiking! I decided to be part of A Moxie Movement, because I want to help make a brighter future for women and be a good role model for my daughter and other little girls. I believe in equal rights for everybody, from all genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, so on and so on! My passions include writing, art, and mental health advocacy. I hope to study and be a recreational therapist for mentally ill patients while also being a good mom. Please ask me question about my team, how to be involved or about myself.

Hi, I am Jamie. I am one of the Co-Founders of A Moxie Movement. I have a BA in Religion and have just finished a year of working at the World Council of Churches in the interfaith department. I have a beautiful daughter and am exploring what that means for my professional and personal identity. I love discussing the intersection of identity within the self and also within society. My focus in religion has mostly been to explore the commonalities of humanity in different religions using philosophical theories and personal experiences. It has been a passion to pursue because it opens doors for a new perspective on scripture and a useful interpersonal skills that help with peace building. I am on a journey to find out where this passion will lead and how I can continue to be involved in helping people to expand their perspectives on the other while also fully enjoying my new daughter.
